The BA Role Is Evolving Fast

AI for BAs has moved
far beyond prompting ChatGPT.

📋
What Most BA Courses Teach
Drafting documents faster, summarising meetings, building dashboards. Useful, but increasingly table stakes. Any analyst with a good prompt can do the same — and junior roles are being automated out of exactly those tasks.
🤖
What the Market Actually Needs
BAs who can specify what an AI agent does, write acceptance criteria for it, evaluate its outputs, govern it responsibly, and communicate its implications to every stakeholder from engineer to board. That is a rarer and far more valuable skill.
⚠️
The Gap Hiring Managers Are Noticing
Candidates who have used AI tools versus candidates who have configured, governed, and measured AI agent systems. That distinction is now visible in every senior BA job description posted in 2025–2026.
🎯
What This Programme Gives You
Ten weeks of live project-based learning — from GenAI foundations through Agentic AI governance — with 12 named projects building to one flagship capstone. Every deliverable is something you'd produce on a real AI project, not a course exercise.
What You'll Be Able to Do

Six skills that make you
the AI-fluent BA every team wants.

01
📝
Write requirements for AI systems
Acceptance criteria, data requirements, and success metrics for GenAI and agentic systems that developers, QA, and product teams can actually use.
02
🤖
Understand and specify AI agents
What agents can and can't do, when to recommend one, how to define scope and guardrails, and how to communicate this to stakeholders who have never seen an agent before.
03
📊
Evaluate AI outputs for business decisions
Groundedness, accuracy, bias, hallucination — what to test, what thresholds to set, and how to present findings to non-technical leadership in terms they act on.
04
🔄
Deploy no-code agent workflows
Configure and demonstrate working AI agents using Copilot Studio, Make.com, and Zapier AI — without writing a line of code, but understanding every design decision behind them.
05
🛡
Govern AI agents in enterprise settings
Accountability frameworks, HITL design, data privacy, AI risk registers, bias assessment, and responsible AI policy documentation — from the BA's seat at the table.
06
💬
Bridge technical and business stakeholders
Translate AI capabilities into business language for leadership. Translate business requirements into technical specs for engineers. Be the person the team cannot do an AI project without.

Week 7 — Agentic AI
AgentDesign™
No-Code Workflow Agent + Full BA Specification
You configure a working AI agent for a real business process in Copilot Studio or Make.com — then document it as a professional BA specification: scope, tool access, approval logic, failure modes, and acceptance criteria. Week 7 opens with 60 minutes of conceptual orientation before any configuration, so you understand what you're building. Most "AI for BA" courses show you how to use tools. This is the only programme where you also produce the specification an engineering team would build from.

Agentic AI — What Every BA Must Now Understand

Three things reshaping
the BA role right now.

🔌
MCP — How Agents Access Tools & Data
Model Context Protocol is the standard for connecting AI systems to databases, APIs, and business tools. As a BA, you need to know what MCP tools an agent has access to, what permissions they carry, and what the accountability implications are when a tool is invoked or misused. This is a governance question, not a technical one.
Tool PermissionsData Access ScopeAccountability
🤝
A2A — How Agents Collaborate
Agent-to-Agent protocol enables AI systems from different vendors to discover each other and delegate tasks. BAs need to understand handoff points, accountability when an agent sub-delegates, and how to write requirements for multi-agent workflows without needing to understand the underlying implementation.
Handoff RequirementsAccountability MappingMulti-Agent Scope
🏭
No-Code Platforms — What BAs Build Today
Microsoft Copilot Studio, Salesforce Einstein, Make.com, Zapier AI — enterprise agent platforms a BA can configure without writing code. This course teaches them hands-on because they are the tools you will encounter on real AI projects in 2026, not hypothetical future technology.

Is This For You?

Built for BAs who want
to lead AI projects,
not just survive them.

✅ Great Fit
Business Analysts on or near AI project teams
You want to be the most valuable person in the room, not the one being worked around.
Analysts moving into AI product or consulting roles
You see the opportunity clearly. This programme gives you the credibility to act on it.
Project Managers expanding into AI delivery
You manage delivery but need to understand what AI projects actually involve to plan them well.
Consultants advising on AI strategy

Interview Readiness

Questions you'll be asked —
and how you'll answer them.

Every module includes a "What interviewers ask about this topic" callout. Six that come up in almost every AI-adjacent BA role.

"How would you write acceptance criteria for an AI agent?"
Week 7 teaches exactly this — scope, tool access, stop conditions, approval gates, and failure behaviour in a formal BA spec. AgentDesign™ is a worked, submittable example. Week 7 opens with conceptual orientation so the criteria you write are grounded in how agents actually work.
↑ Week 7 — AgentDesign™
"How do you know an AI agent is working well for business use cases?"
You'll answer from GovShield™: task success rates, escalation frequency, time-to-resolution vs. baseline, user correction rate, and stakeholder satisfaction. Business eval metrics, not just technical groundedness scores.
↑ Week 8 — GovShield™
"How do you measure the ROI of an AI project?"
You built a real ROI model in Week 8 — baseline vs. AI-assisted time, error rates, escalation frequency, and cost-per-outcome. GovShield™ has a worked ROI section with a model you can walk through step by step.
↑ Week 8 — GovShield™
"What's the difference between an LLM and an AI agent?"
You'll answer with the business-friendly explanation from Week 2 backed by AgentRadar — LLMs respond to a prompt; agents plan, act, and decide across multi-step workflows autonomously. You'll have a capability map to show.
↑ Week 2 — AgentRadar
"Walk me through how you'd integrate AI into an existing business process."
FlowBlueprint is exactly this — before/after process maps, user story backlog, KPI definitions, risk register, and a phased rollout plan. You narrate from your own portfolio rather than describing a hypothetical.
↑ Week 3 — FlowBlueprint
"What AI tools have you used to automate business workflows?"
Microsoft Copilot Studio and Make.com — hands-on in Week 7 with AgentDesign™. You have a working demo, a BA specification, and a recorded walkthrough. Most candidates can name the tools. You'll have shipped with them.
↑ Week 7 — AgentDesign™

What Our Students Say

From people who've
been through it.

This course transformed my understanding of AI in business contexts. I learned how to leverage data-driven insights for strategic decision-making — something no other programme had made practical for a working BA.
Emily Carter
Business Analyst
The governance module alone changed how I approach AI delivery. I now have language and structure for conversations I was previously fumbling through — and GovShield™ is something I've actually used in a real project since.
Michael Thompson
Project Manager
The instructors are genuine industry experts. I now feel confident recommending and governing AI solutions to clients — and I have a portfolio to prove it, not just a certificate to show for it.
Sarah Martinez
Technology Consultant

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything else
you want to know.

Do I need to know how to code?
No. This programme is designed specifically for non-technical professionals. Week 9 uses Python in a guided, run-and-understand format — not a build-from-scratch coding exercise. The Agentic AI modules in Weeks 7–8 use no-code tools entirely.
How is this different from a generic AI literacy course?
Every deliverable is framed as something you'd produce on a real AI project: BRDs, governance packs, ROI models, integration blueprints, no-code agent demos. You're building evidence of competence, not completing quizzes.
Why does Week 7 open with conceptual orientation before hands-on work?
So you configure tools you understand, not tools you've just seen demoed. The 60-minute Day 1 orientation covers how agents actually work, what MCP and A2A mean for BAs, and when NOT to recommend an agent — before any Copilot Studio or Make.com session. Students who skip the orientation consistently produce weaker specifications.
What's the time commitment per week?
Plan for 8–12 hours: roughly 3–4 hours of live sessions and 4–8 hours of project work. Because every module project feeds into the capstone, the work compounds positively — later weeks feel efficient because earlier foundations are already built.
Are sessions recorded?
Yes. All live sessions are recorded and available for the duration of your community access. We strongly recommend attending live — the stakeholder presentation exercises and live critique sessions are where most students report the real learning happens.
How is the capstone graded?
Assessed on completeness of deliverables, quality of requirements and governance documentation, and clarity of your stakeholder presentation. Real-world BA quality — the kind a delivery lead or CTO would sign off on — is the standard. Technical sophistication is not a criterion.
